"content": "– as my colleague from Uasin Gishu County has said – even in preparing diversions when they are constructing roads. CSR is very important and it is practiced by even the best renowned corporate organisations in this world. Why is it that people have to demonstrate against Chinese companies by carrying twigs or even intimidate or coerce them to give CSR? I think time has come that my Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights will relook our engagement with foreigners in this country. We will not sit back and auction our country. As the Senate, it is high time we stood up in the gap that has been left and bring radical changes that will ensure the dignity of Kenyans. It is not even about the economy/. It is about the dignity of Kenyans. We appreciate that they are also assisting us in procreation."
