    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I agree with the hon. Member that probably the road deserved more allocation but the Ministry of Roads works on a budget which is allocated by the Office of the Deputy Minister and Ministry of Finance. Therefore, we are able to work with what we have. I want to assure the House that we will prioritise this road and ensure that we have a long-term solution. The Kshs200 million that we are giving is for periodic maintenance and not for the rehabilitation of the road to what we would want it to be. I assure this House that being a C Road we will also consider it as a sufficiently important road more so when we consider that we receive very many visitors. This being one of the peak seasons, I assure the Members that we will do it within the shortest time possible and ensure that we allocate it money for full rehabilitation in the next financial year."
