    "content": "Hon. Speaker, Gikomba is the largest market for second-hand clothes and other items of trade in East and Central Africa. About nine months ago, fire gutted down 60 per cent of the market over what was suspected to be foul play and alleged land grabbing. It is unfortunate that investigations commenced and to date, no report has been shared regarding the perpetrators of the arson. The recent fire incident claimed, at least, 15 lives, left over 70 people seriously injured and stock worth millions of shillings destroyed. I urge the police and the investigative agencies to move with speed and bring the perpetrators of that heinous act to book."
