    "content": "Hon. Speaker, this gives the House an opportunity to really look at what this is all about. We saw that the last Salaries and Remuneration Commission, every engagement we had with them, their mind was that Members of Parliament and politicians across the country and Members of the County Assemblies must be cut to size. So, every time Parliament was on recess, they put a circular and said that those were our salaries and that they had been reduced. This is a matter the House must deal with squarely."
