"content": "The investors must be protected. I know of a project that is about to start in my Kakamega County. An investor has requested for some land to develop, operate and then hand over to the county after some period in Mudiri and Otiende estates in Kakamega. If this House approves this Bill, I am sure this will comfortably facilitate the developer to sort out the housing problem in Kakamega. As I finish, I realise an observation was made by quite a number of Members that land valuers and players in the real estate sector were not involved in this. As we go to the Third Reading, I ask the Committee to find time to get their opinions so that we can develop a Bill that is all inclusive."
