    "content": "The Ombudsman office, which is now called the Commission on Administrative Justice is very important. Many people have missed justice in this country. They have no recourse to anywhere else. They are not even aware of arbitration. The Ombudsman office has very important officers. Hon. Otiende Amollo elevated it to that sphere. Many people are aware of it now. I know there is a move being initiated at the moment where people are trying to merge the Ombudsman office, the National Gender and Equality Commission and the Kenya Human Rights Commission. Some people are making a move to merge them with the impetus of reducing the number of commissions in the country. However, we should let the Ombudsman office stand for a while, so that people can benefit from it. In the spirit of devolution, they should also try and devolve their functions."
