    "content": "Mrs. Lucy Kamunye Kambuni Ndung’u is also an astute advocate who has worked for the republic at the Office of the Attorney-General all the way to the Registrar of Societies to become the Registrar of Political Parties. In spite of the reservations that have been voiced by a colleague, we, as the Committee, were of the view that she did the best she could knowing what our political parties are in Kenya especially with their shambolic nominations that come towards the end of every term. This lady was even able to assist Members to contest as independents and we have no less than 14 Members who won elections. This is a clear testimony what the Registrar of Political Parties had done. We even asked Lucy Kamunye why she had dissolved the Party of National Unity (PNU) which boasts of having one Member of Parliament from Tigania East.
