    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise to second this Motion and say that I think that its importance is not so much what some hon. Members feel that we are trying to discredit the work of committees or the Government. I think we just want to be sure that the figures which we are using to distribute national resources, since this will be the basis for distribution of other resources given the new Constitution--- We really must be certain that the figures that we are using satisfy the needs of the people and are in conformity with the reality on the ground. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I have been looking at the figures which we have here. Some people say they are archaic while others say they lead to a loss. Depending on how you look at it, it can be a gain or a loss. The question which we are asking is: Are these figures realistic, particularly figures on poverty indices?
