    "content": "The education sector in the country suffers from a myriad of issues. The problems we are experiencing now of students burning schools and cases of indiscipline are a microcosm of the real problems in the sector. The education sector, as it is right now, needs fundamental changes. We have posted principals to manage boarding schools and they have never been in boarding schools and have never been trained to understand how boarding schools are managed. Therefore, when you put such a principal in such a school, it becomes a bigger problem because he is not able to manage such a school. We need to strengthen the training of principals and managers of schools. We appoint board members just because we know them and not because they have good qualities, say, knowledge and skills on management issues. So, we need to look at the whole principle of management of schools."
