"content": "Last week, we raised substantial issues about the Senate and the next day, the Senate wanted to reply to us. There was a Senator who graduated from being a Member of the County Assembly (MCA) to the Senate which, in my opinion, is wrong. The people of Kenya should not allow that to happen. Kenyans must allow an MCA to become a County Assembly Speaker, then a Deputy Governor then an MP, then a Senator. However, there is a Senator who graduated from an MCA directly to the Senate. So, instead of arguing on the points that we raised on the mandate between the two Houses, this Senator said he was going to bring an amendment to scrap constituencies.
