There is no rank that is called “Petty Officer”. It is not there. The Chairman was wrong. I think it was a typographical error in the Bill. What is in the Bill is “Chief Petty Officer Grade 1. So, the word “Petty” is not even there in the ranks. There is no rank called “Petty”."
