"content": "I fully agree with the hon. Member that the efficiency of the Regional Development Authorities in the past have not been to their potential or maximum capacity. That one has been attributed to the fact that the source of funds has totally been through the Treasury or the Exchequer but we have brought a new dimension whereby all regional development authorities have been told by the parent Ministry that they should now expand their sources of revenue. They should outsource using even private sector and also engage in Private Public Partnership. I am sure with our current strategic plan and with the new dimension we have taken as a Ministry, very soon, they are going to maximize their potential."
