"content": "In view of what the Assistant Minister has said and given the fact that TARDA has been getting substantial funding from the Exchequer and nothing much has gone to the river basin, the reason for this for the constituencies which are served by the Athi, which are about eight including mine, is because the appointment of directors to TARDA has not taken care of regional interests. Currently, we have only one director who was appointed the other day. What is the Ministry doing to ensure that stakeholdersâ interests are taken care of in terms of appointing the board of directors?"
