There is nothing that can be further from the truth. If you look at the legislative history of the Constitution… I sat in Naivasha and I know many of us were very opposed to the presidential system. It is better when your colleagues come here as CSs. If you have an issue disturbing you in your constituency, you deal with your CS directly. The only reason we agreed to it was that we knew the CSs would be coming here and they would be ranking pari passu with us. They are equal to MPs. They can never be superior. I would like to encourage those who come to the SRC and those who are representing us in the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) to never lose sight."
