"content": "The other issue I want to bring to the attention of this committee is that when we were seized with this particular matter, Mr. Kinyua was the Chairman of KFS Board. His term expired and it was the wish of His Excellency the President to re-appoint him. We have no authority to question that. Despite him being re-appointed, all of us are possible candidates to be interviewed and investigated by the EACC. The other issue we found extremely wanting is that it is this committee which started the campaign against logging in this country, which was subsequently picked up by the Executive led by the Deputy President and subsequently a moratorium was issued."
