    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I congratulate the Departmental Committee on Environmental and Natural Resources, led by my very good friend and able Chair. What has made conservation of forests impossible over the years are just two things, which have become chronic illnesses in this country – impunity and corruption. When I read this Report, I realised that it is high time Kenyans realised that there are some communities which rely on these forests, and which have become very instrumental in conservation of this forest.
