    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. The issue Hon. Otiende Amollo has raised is so fundamental. It is a matter that we need to address. The only unfortunate thing is that we are raising this issue of gender only where the gender that has always been disadvantaged is the one that has been advantaged today. If it was the other way round, I would have said that we, as a House, need to open a new chapter by rejecting these appointments on the basis of gender. I will not agree with what the Leader of the Majority Party said, that we are just approving three names. We are approving three names to join a commission. Already, there are members in that commission.
