"content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I stand to support this Motion. Education is a fundamental human right enshrined in the Constitution of Kenya. Therefore, every Kenyan citizen has a right to access education without discrimination. Further to that, we have seen leaders with disabilities in this nation, starting with Hon. Tim Wanyonyi. Disability is not inability. We have seen Hon. Tim Wanyonyi being a Member of Parliament irrespective of the disability that he lives with. In the US, there were presidents, led by Franklin Roosevelt, the 32nd President, but his disability did not stop him from being president and leading his country out of the great depression and winning the World War II. John F. Kennedy was also a leader of the free world and was loved because of that. I, therefore, support this Motion. Special infrastructure should be set up in these schools. This should start with braille, classes, increased number of teachers, hearing devices and other infrastructure that they need. We need to respect persons living with disabilities because we are all Kenyans and we need to be treated equally. Thank you."
