    "content": "I could highlight a few of those conclusions. The Commission recognises the importance of relevant International Labour Organisation (ILO) standards related to the realisation of women’s right to work and the right to critical empowerment of women including those in rural areas. It recalls the decent work agenda of the ILO and that the ILO declaration on fundamental principles and rights at work were still not yet achieved. It was noted that it was important to start implementing some of those, so that they can reach rural women, who, most of the time work without pay or even earn less than their male counterpart. In rural areas, women earn less. The Commission emphasises the mutually reinforcing relationship among achieving gender equality and empowerment of women and recognises that the Beijing Declaration and Platform of Action remains a key framework that will guide gender equality achievement by countries."
