As I rise to support the Report of the Committee on the vetting of the chairperson and members of IPOA, the names of the nominees have been submitted to the House in accordance with the Constitution. Article 250(2)(b) of the Constitution and Section 11(5) of the IPOA Act, No.35 of 2011 and Sections 3 and 5 of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act No.33 of 2011 provide for this."
