    "content": "to them. We all know that Kenya decided through the Constitution promulgated in 2010 to create a multiparty democracy country. By doing so, we also went a step further in deepening democracy to allocate annual revenue to political parties to be managed by the Registrar of Political Parties so that they are run professionally and independently, without relying on the patronage of specific individuals or donors. In fact, the Act governing the management of political parties is very clear that there is a percentage one is allowed to contribute in a particular financial year to a political party of choice. I hope and believe the Office of the Auditor-General is looking into that to ensure that it is not violated."
