    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to thank the Committee for this wonderful work. It is a new Committee in this House but it is showing that those people who are there have knowledge on this issue of special funds through the Report they have prepared. I know there is more to come. They are going to help us. When we talk of funding political parties, it is a worthy thing. That is the decision of Kenyans when they voted for the new Constitution. I had to compare what was there when KADU, KANU and others were there. They were like somebody’s property. However, because some of us have been there and have seen what used to happen during those days and now, I can credit that it is now worse than even the KANU and KADU time. You remember what happened in 2007 and 2008.
