    "content": "Part IV of this Bill ensures that an individual‟s data is protected from a third party who might want to get another person‟s data for malicious purposes by providing ways of securing the data. Furthermore, this Bill outlines different penalties that shall be meted on the various culprits. My colleague has already stated how the European Union (EU) is interested. Recently, we had a visit from the Estonian Ambassador to Kenya. He explained to us how data protection is important. We pray and look forward to a time when our country will go to such a level or even halfway. If that will happen, this country will be a great place to live in. I was fascinated by how, in the EU, the law protects even persons with data, regardless of the technology that was used to collect it; whether manual or otherwise. This data is protected and the culprits are severely punished if they infringe on this law."
