    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, Clause 8 of this Bill, therefore, becomes extremely important. It says- “An agency that collects or processes personal data shall ensure that the data is complete, accurate, up-to-date and not misleading, having regard to the purpose for the collection or processing of the personal data.” When this Bill becomes operational, we will need to agree as a country on who will ascertain that the data is complete, accurate, up-to-date and not misleading. This is because in most cases data is collected from individuals who are not aware of the accuracies, completeness and whether or not the data is misleading."
