The more important aspect of what you just said is that Committees to which petitions have been referred have a maximum of 60 days to consider those petitions and submit a report. Remember, the report is merely submitted to the House as a formality. It is to be given to the petitioner or petitioners. If you have not submitted the report within 60 days, you run the risk of acting outside of the law.
