    "content": "Since January 2018 when Budget and Appropriations Committee came into operation, 48 legislative proposals have been submitted to the Budget and Appropriations Committee. These proposals relate to health, finance, agriculture and ICT sectors. The Budget and Appropriations Committee, when considering these proposals, invites the sponsor of the Bill to appear before the Committee and justify the importance of the legislative proposal given the fact that it may lead to a charge to the people of Kenya."
