    "content": "Out of the 48 proposals committed to the Committee, 28 legislative proposals have been completed and decision communicated to the Speaker. Seven are awaiting response from the National Treasury who are required to communicate their opinion at least a minimum of 14 days. It is important to note that the Constitution and the Standing Orders do not state a timeline but we have indicated to the National Treasury that it would rather have this put at 14 days. As soon as the 14 days expire, the Committee will go ahead and advise the Speaker on its decision. One legislative proposal is delayed on the request of the Member. That happens to be myself. The remaining 13 legislative proposals are still in the process of being reviewed by the Committee."
