"content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I want to support the amendment. The laws that we make are not for the elites but for the commoners. When we are prescriptive in the laws that we pass, we make a big mistake. I think the medical practitioners live in strata. It is known what surgeons, clinical officers and nurses do. For us to sit here and try to prescribe is a big mistake. When we say a clinical officer should do this but should not do invasive, basically we are saying they do everything but not surgery. If that is not what his profession calls him to do, then what law are we trying to prescribe here? Anything that we pass in this law, let us not allow even a single word that is going to cause confusion to pass."
