Temporary Deputy Chairman, there is need to delete this subsection as it presents prosecution challenges since the Attorney-General has no specific role to play in enabling prosecution of offences relating to illegal or misleading advertisement of medicinal substances. A deletion of the requirement that the Attorney-General must consent to prosecution under the section of the Act will thus enable the expeditious prosecution of the offences."
