Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Pharmacy and Poisons Act, Cap 244 be further amended in the proposed new section 3B− (i) by deleting the proposed amendment to subsection (1); (ii) by deleting the proposed amendment to subsection (2); This amendment seeks to retain the current provision as contained in the Bill to provide for the function of the board in the regulation of health products. The definition of the term “health product” is more comprehensive than that of the term “pharmaceutical products”."
