    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker for giving me an opportunity to comment on this very important Petition. I will limit myself to the case of snakes in the northern and eastern part of Kenya. Statistics show that about 250 Kenyans die of snake bites every year and most of them are children. What could work better is the idea of prevention. Instead of KWS making reparations for victims of snake bites who have passed on - it is very expensive - it would be better if they sensitised communities as has been prayed in this Petition. That way, people will become aware of what to do. They could also be supplied with drugs or mechanisms put in place to ensure that victims of snake bites get timely first aid upon being bitten by a snake."
