    "content": "(p) in the proposed amendment to Section 27 by inserting the following new proposed amendment− Delete subsection (4) and substitute therefor the following new subsection− (4) No license shall be issued or renewed under this section unless the person applying for or holding such license is or has a registered pharmaceutical practitioner in control of the distribution of the poisons and the registered pharmaceutical practitioner is resident in Kenya. The amendment deletes the word “pharmacist” and introduces the words “pharmaceutical practitioner” which means both pharmacist and pharmaceutical technologist. This is also a consequential amendment by the Committee as an earlier proposed amendment. Thank you."
