"content": "(ii) by inserting the following new subsection immediately after the proposed new subsection (9)− (10) Pursuant to nominations in paragraphs (1) (c) and (d), each organisation shall present two nominees one of whom shall be appointed by the Cabinet Secretary taking into account ethnic diversity, gender, disability, skills mix and regional balance. The amendments in this section seek to reconstitute the membership of the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dental Council. It will be the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council so as to make it inclusive of all the various relevant stakeholders in the health sector as well as to provide for the qualifications of the chairperson of the council."
