Paragraph (d) says: Three persons appointed by the Cabinet Secretary as follows— (i) One person who shall be nominated by the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights; (ii) One person who shall be a representative of the private sector in health; (iii)One person with knowledge and expertise in finance or audit. The question I want to pose to the Chair is: Why are we discriminating against the public health sector in the appointment of members to sit in the council?"
