I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended – (i) in the proposed amendment to section 11(1) by inserting the words “or midwife” immediately after the word “nurse” in the proposed new paragraph (a); The question that arose was about midwives and nurses. This amendment seeks to provide that the Registrar of the Council be either a nurse or a midwife since the Act regulates both nurses and midwives. It is only that Hon.
