"content": "(iii) Public universities; (f) One person nominated by the National Council for Population and Development; and, (g) the Director General of the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics or an officer designated by the Director General of the Bureau who shall be the secretary to the technical committee and shall have no vote. (3) The persons nominated under sub section (1) (d), (e,) and (f) shall — (a) be appointed by the Cabinet Secretary by notice in the Gazette ; and (b) Serve on a part-time basis for a term of four years renewable for one further term. (4) The Cabinet Secretary shall appoint the first members of the technical committee under subsection (1) (d) (e) and (f) within two months of the commencement of this Act.
