    "content": "THAT, in the High Court ruling on 3rd March 2016, the court awarded Kshs40,950,000 as compensation to the victims and survivors of the Kyanguli dormitory fire jointly and severally and broken down as follows- (a) Pain and suffering: 150,000 x 63 = 9,450,000. (b) Loss of expectation of life: 200,000 x 63 = 12,600,000. (c) Loss of dependency: 300,000 x 63 = 18,900,000."
