"content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to contribute to this Report of the Special Funds Accounts Committee. Let me start by congratulating and thanking this Committee for bringing this Report. This is probably the first time that we are seriously independently discussing the Report away from the accounts of Government or other departments. I am happy that this Report is coming at this time. I am aware that the Speaker made a communication regarding the performance of Public Accounts Committee and Public Investments Committee. It is a concern to us as the leadership of the House. We have discussed it now twice at the House Business Committee, given the fact that the report of PAC is very crucial. I am saying this well aware that I am the Leader of the Minority Party that chairs both committees. I am in no doubt that the leadership of those committees is competent enough to realise the urgency with which this country wants the reports, especially of the PAC, so that in the next period of division of revenue, we will have up to date or, at least the recently audited and approved accounts. We put it in our Constitution that we would share revenue based on the last audited and approved accounts. As it is today, the last audited and approved accounts are up to 2013/2104, but the audited accounts are up to date.
