The point I was trying to make is that I have a problem with the dignity of both men and women that is exhibited--- In the Marakwet culture, you cannot sit on a boda boda the way people do with their mothers-in-law or a lady with her father-in-law because it is undignified. Is it because they have wealth in the locality or because the means of transport is exciting? This is a sector that we must--- In fact, we need to get the statistics. I wish I had gotten statistics from the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) regarding the road accidents caused by them. Some of them are not road accidents because motorcycles are ridden along a path in the village. With that statistics, we must create a special section of the NTSA in terms of monitoring, licensing and oversighting all boda boda businesses. When I say this, it is not because we are disrespectful to boda boda people but the reality speaks for itself."
