The Committee observed that a number of audit queries raised in the Report of the Auditor-General in some constituencies outlined here were either subject to active proceedings as provided under Standing Order No.89(2) or under investigations by the EACC. In Lang’ata, Embakasi North, Embakasi South and Kamukunji constituencies, the Committee recommended that the EACC expedites investigations into these matters and furnishes a status report on the investigations to the National Assembly so that, that report can also be adopted.
