    "content": "Thank you very much, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for understanding. I am very passionate about this topic of road accidents and carnage. As I have said, we will declare road carnage a national disaster in this country and make sure that we put in place structures to mitigate it. There are already laws that govern transport on our roads. We need to look at ways in which we can make sure that we do not bury our people due to road accidents. There are many other causes of death. Kenyans should die from natural causes but not road accidents. The disability fraternity that I belong to, is already full. We need to address the issue of road carnage. Most of the patients, who are at the National Spinal Injury Referral Hospital due to road accidents, are in denial and this issue should be addressed.
