    "content": "(5) That efforts to have the title documents issued to the private developers cancelled and the said land reverted to its rightful owners have so far proved futile. The petitioners, therefore, pray that the Senate investigates this matter with a view to ensuring that the title issued to the said land grabbers is revoked, and that the rightful owners are settled on the entire parcel of land allocated to them and issued with the title documents thereon. Hon. Senators, pursuant to Standing Order 231, I shall now allow comments, observations or clarifications in relation to this Petition for a period not more than 30 minutes. Thank you. I see no request for interest. Therefore, pursuant to Standing Order 232(1), the Petition stands committed to the Standing Committee on Land, Environment and Natural Resources. In terms of Standing Order 232(2), the Committee is required, in not more than 60 days from the time of reading this prayer, to respond to the petitioners by way of a report addressed to the petitioners and laid on the Table of the Senate.
