"content": "The debt situation should be addressed and if it is not addressed, the country will go into recession. We have been in a similar situation before. In 2007, Kenya was heavily in debt. We were technically in recession but I think the Grand Coalition Government took measures that made it possible to turn the country round. I hope the Government will seize the opportunity, now that both sides are working together to some extent, to try and address this situation because the people of this country will not believe anything else other than having a life that they can afford. If that is not done, then all else will not make any sense. We should take up the queue from Sen. Khaniri and address this problem."
