    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to join my colleagues in condoling with the families of the bereaved. On behalf of persons living with disabilities and myself, I wish to condole with the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic accident. It is very painful that 55 people died on the spot, more so, when five members of the same family are involved. At a twinkle of an eye, lives were lost. People died without accomplishing what they needed to accomplish in this world. It is given that everyone will die, but it should not be due to human error. As the Senate, we need to find ways of averting deaths that are caused by accidents on the roads. There is need for the Traffic Police and all other agencies who man the roads to be taken to task, so that they can take their work seriously. It is painful to lose lives prematurely. Some of those who died were children and youths. I want to commend the Governor for Kericho County for committing to support those who are bereaved.
