    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I want to promote this Motion on Pan-Africanism because of the following resolution. I want to support it, sorry. They have talked about promotion of Press freedom. We have seen quite a number of times when the Press is not given the freedom that it deserves. So, I support the resolution to promote Press freedom. One of the happenings in the meeting was the election of Hon. Janet Ong’era as the Chair of the East African Caucus. She was also elected as the Chair in charge of Gender Affairs. Hon. Kones was elected as the Chair of the Transport Committee. As a woman Member of Parliament, I saw the flag of Kenya being hoisted high. We are fighting for the two-thirds gender rule and our women parliamentarians were recognised for that and put on the map of Africa. So I support what transpired in that meeting.
