    "content": "I was the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Labour and Social Welfare in the 10th Parliament. I visited some of the embassies around the world. They had given us a memorandum as a Committee, which talked about their welfare. Honestly speaking, there is no difference between that time and what I have read from the Report of the Committee. It shows that those embassies are still suffering 10 or 7 years later. An ambassador of a country is a person who promotes the interest of a nation. He is supposed to be well facilitated. He goes around the nation selling the agenda of Kenya. From what I have heard and read from the Report of this Committee, most of our embassies lack adequate resources. If we are not able to resource the embassies which promote the agenda, mission, vision and the integrity of this country to the international community, then it beats common sense."
