    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I agree with the Committee when they talk about the security on border points. We should have a joint committee that will understand and engage in activities that will coordinate security. We should also have a structure that will engage properly with the communities that live along the borders. We should also have proper understanding between the communities that live on both sides. The Committee recommended that we should have coordination and partnership among the communities that live on the border. I will give you an example. When our good Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) were taken to Kulbiyow in Somalia, they painted a very nice image of this country. They went out of their way recently and donated books and treated children in schools. That is the kind of relationship that we need. If KDF can promote our image, support schools and people who are sick, fetch water and distribute it to the people in Somalia which is a war-torn country, then we require the same kind of treatment of our people from all our border points."
