In this respect the Minister for Lands can cause land to be acquired if he is adequately satisfied that land is required for purposes of public good and if he considers that settlement of landless families will enhance such good. Compensation of land acquired through compulsory acquisition is for vesting such land in the Government for the settlement of landless families."
