    "content": "The other issue is creation of a common market. Nowadays the power of a nation is not measured by the might of its defence forces. It is purely a matter of trade. Therefore, as the EAC, we can negotiate trade deals with other countries as one entity. This would yield much more for the individual countries of the community than it would yield by each country negotiating on its own."
