    "content": "We also have a long way to go when it comes to a unified monetary union and it is an aspiration of the EAC to have one common currency as other regional blocs do. It is also an aspiration of the EAC to have one central bank with a governor. We have a long way to go in this because of some of the issues we encounter originating from some of our partner states. As I finish, broadly speaking, there are many advantages of integrating, but as Members of Parliament, it is important for us to talk directly even to our other Member states."
